RCI-Mercury is a dynamic, comprehensive, searchable online library that includes
technical, historical, and innovative roofing and waterproofing information. RCI-Mercury
is a free information service provided by the Roof Consultants Institute as a
means to promote professionalism, education, and research throughout the roofing
industry.
An Expanding Resource
The scope of content included in the RCI-Mercury database spans decades and
covers a myriad of topics. The majority of articles on this website have been
submitted by generous industry publications and numerous roofing professionals.
These individuals, in a conscious effort to preserve precious roofing history,
have offered their personal libraries for inclusion in RCI-Mercury. If you have
archival information that would interest the roofing/waterproofing community,
in either digital or hard copy form, please consider adding it to RCI-Mercury.

New to RCI-Mercury, the Hot Topics venue was developed to accommodate a location on the Mercury site where information regarding urgent or important industry issues can be gathered and accessed at one location. Hot topic issues can be submitted for committee review and upload to the hot topics forum via the electronic submittal process or via normal mail in hard copy.
Topics such as Factory Mutual’s modifications to attachment requirements are an example of an industry issue of import where several documents of varying opinion and position surfaced.
Hot Topic will provide the location for collection and access to this type of information.
We hope you will find this new venue an added value to RCI Mercury. Your comments and thoughts are always welcome.
